October
Took the morning off for a couple hours trolling on the South Cornish coast yesterday.
Met Bob there and launched at 0800, the high tide had just turned and started dropping. You can see how calm the bay is in the image, but there was a stiff Easterly coming down the channel that was due to pick up as the morning went on.
This bay faces SW so was nice and sheltered.

Lots of small Pollock biting....
We fished the sheltered stretch of coastline for a couple hours with plenty of Pollock taken but no other species I'm afraid. We probably hooked about 20 Pollock, biggest about 3lb but nothing bigger.

About mid-morning the sun broke through the cloud briefly. I had a quick break in this tiny west facing bay with cliffs protecting from the wind, and with the sunshine it felt like a summers day 'briefly'.

No great fish caught, but still a cracking morning on the water, and a nice morning not to be working.
