What to Wear

Paddling is a watersport and so dressing appropriately is important to ensure comfort and safety.

"Dress for the water, not the weather"

Although in some of our reviews, we run through what we wear when paddling here is a guide of what to wear and prepare for when you are heading onto the water. Obviously, conditions can change quickly so it is always important to expect the worst and always be prepared with dry/warmer clothes whenever possible!

We've put together some examples of typical items clothing and equipment that you might want to have with you when you go paddling. Its important that your kit works for you. So start with the essentials and then you can add to your kit as and when you feel the need. After all, you can never have too many thermals or dry bags!
