Manchester Canoes - Full Time IT & Sales Advisor

Manchester Canoes is expanding into bigger and better premises

After 3 busy years since opening in the North West, Manchester Canoes is moving 250 yards down the road into bigger premises to accommodate our growing range of products from the leading manufacturers from around the world. The expansion of the business has created a new full time employment vacancy.

The role will include assisting in maintaining and developing our portfolio of websites and working in the sales department assisting customers to make informed purchases, till operation, stock handling, stock control, and dispatching goods.

The successful applicant will need excellent computer skills and a high level of attention to detail which is essential for accurate online content. Experience using Dreamweaver and photo editing software would be advantageous.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for the manual handling of products including unloading/loading of shipping containers and lorries.

Applicants should have good understanding of canoeing or kayaking with a passion to learn more. A friendly and enthusiastic manner with good communication skills is essential.   A full UK driving licence would be advantageous as would previous retail experience, however this is not essential as full training will be supplied.
