Description
The Feelfree Aventura 125 V2 is the middle size in the Aventura touring kayak range which is a great choice for paddlers of all levels wanting to do day trips on calm to moderate coastal or inland waters. It has confidence inspiring stability along with all of the features found on the larger Aventura 140 however, being a little shorter and lighter weight, it is more manageable on and off the water.
The cockpit has a comfortable padded seat with a backrest you can adjust to get just the right support you need. There are two sealed bulkheads providing good sized storage compartments which are accessed via hinged deck hatches and are ideal for storing camping gear for overnight trips. Deck bungees provide the option of adding additional storage such as a deck bag or even a spare pair of split paddles.
Feelfree use a super-linear plastic which is a very strong material however also relatively light compared with other plastics, this keeps the weight of the Aventura very much manageable on or off the water. A lightweight kayak will displace less water so improving the glide characteristics hence this is an efficient and enjoyable kayak to paddle. There is a drop down skeg to enhance straight line performance on windy days or when paddling in cross currents or choppy water.
