Gumotex Twist 1

The Gumotex Twist 1 is a lightweight single inflatable kayak which packs down super small and is very quick and easy to inflate. Ideal for children and small adults paddling on sheltered water.

Constructed from tough Nitrilon, the Twist 1 only weighs in at an incredible 9kg and can float an adult with ease. It packs down to an incredibly compact size and can easily be carried in a rucksack or even on a bike rack.

When inflated using the Gumotex proprietary Push Push valves the single skin Twist pumps up to 3psi. This is double the amount of pressure that an internal bladdered kayak can take and allows even the small Twist 1 to be efficient when paddled. Inflation only takes minutes and the seat can remain fixed in the kayak to speed things up even more. There is an over pressure valve on the floor to prevent damage and a clip on fin underneath to help with straight line tracking, this should be attached before inflation.

The Twist 1 from Gumotex is the ideal solo kayak for smaller adults and teenagers. It is quick to set up and easy to transport and store that now there is absolutely no excuse not to go paddling this summer....and due to the outstanding longevity of Nitrilon fabric, the next and for many summers after that!
