The Norse Thor is a light weight composite tandem suitable for all levels of paddler whether on the sea, lakes, canals or gentle rivers. It provides reassuring stability so gives even inexperienced paddlers a comfortable and safe trip. It's long waterline and gentle rocker make this a very efficient kayak to paddle with good straight-line tracking. The over-stern rudder is operated by the rear paddler via foot-peg control and provides all the manoeuvrability you will need.

Norse have rigged the Thor very like a sea kayak with safety lines, bungee cords and two watertight bulkheads. The bungee cords are useful for carrying a spare set of paddles, deck-bags, charts etc. Sealed bulkheads separate the storage areas at the bow and stern and there is more storage space accessed by a third hatch between the two cockpits. All three hatches are flush to the deck surface providing clean lines to minimise splash from any water washing over the deck on lively days.
