Description
The Perception Prodigy is a stable tandem open cockpit kayak for leisure paddling on calm waters. The Prodigy 2 is based on the renowned Perception Kiwi but features modern hull design, comfortable seating and high quality boat outfitting.
The large open cockpit design of the Prodigy allows those not wanting to go for a full fat tandem sea kayak to enjoy time on the water, while being afforded more protection from the elements than a tandem sit on top. The prodigy has been designed with calm water paddling in mind, its a stable boat that tracks well in a straight line but can still eat up the miles on a longer paddle.
Outfitted with the very comfortable zone DLX backrest used across most of the perception kayaks range. The seats are adjustable for lean forwards and back as well as having a wide range of height adjustment in the backrest. The built in leg lifter helps reduce leg fatigue on longer trips. Adjustable footrests allow outfitting for any height of paddler . The high levels adjustment mean the prodigy 2 can be set up for comfortable kayaking no matters who's on board, adults, kids, the dog or any combination of paddlers.
