Devon has some of the finest whitewater and beatiful coast in the UK. Both our Totnes and Torbay shop, and Kayaks and Paddles cover this area and are well equiped to advise paddlers about kayaks, canoes and equipment. There are plenty of clubs and societies in the area to help any paddler improve his/her skills or socialise with other paddlesports enthusiasts. Here are just a selection of these.

Opperating out of the Mountbatten Watersports Centre just a 5 minute trip from the historic Plymouth Barbican. PPCA are a friendly and fun club to take your paddling experience from day one. Often running taster sessions and demo days, PPCA are a perfect introduction to paddlesport.

Totnes Canoe Club offers the opportunity for people to enjoy canoeing safely with qualified and friendly coaches. Run by enthusiastic volunteers they offer a mix of easy access flat water, estuary and sea paddling right up to surf and whitewater trips which make use of the many fantastic rivers and beautiful costal sections within easy reach.
