Kayaks and Paddles was the first shop in the group and has changed hugely over the years! The first shop opened in Valley Road, Plymouth. After a few years based in Valley Road the decision was to move to Mount Batten an area being developed for watersports. The decision was a good one. The shops went from strength to strength and started to sell online as well as in the shop. K&P grew so quickly in fact that in just a few short years it moved to a larger shop in Faraday Mill on the outskirts of Plymouth. 6 years and 7 new shops later Kayaks and Paddles has relocated once again to a 6000sq/ft shop in Lee Mill just outside Plymouth. With friendly and knowledgable, BCU certified staff Kayaks and Paddles has one of the highest stock levels in the country. With a 7000sq/ft warehouse located next door they are able to supply a wide range of boats and equipment as well as advice on any paddlesport query. Also the home of Car Roofracks UK, K&P can supply roof boxes, cycle carriers and of course roof racks via mail order or directly from the shop. With its fantastic location, close to Dartmoor and the south-west's glorious coastline there are a number of clubs and groups with whom you can get involved.
