The Enigma Canoes Nimrod 14 is a hugely popular canadian style canoe made, manufactured and assembled here in the UK. At 14ft long the Nimrod 14 is based on a scaled up tandem version of the ever popular RTI 13.

With a shallow V-shaped hull and narrow keel the Nimrod 14 has excellent straight line tracking and its low rocker profile allows the canoe to gracefully cut through the air efficiently and helps the paddler to maintain speed. This canoe has great stability for both solo and tandem use, the tumblehome low sides will give confidence to those starting out and makes for a great use for weekend trips and mini adventures with more than enough room to store overnight equipment or a four legged friend. The Nimrod 14 is perfect for couples looking to explore the water in a new or different way,  designed for calm water conditions such as Lake Windermere, the Nimrod 14 would be the perfect solo canoe for touring the Great Glen. Additionally for those who have a keen eye and are interested in using a canoe for wildlife spotting this can be a relatively quiet boat, with a graceful water presence.

The Nimrod 14 is fitted with oiled woodwork throughout and features two wood webbed seats for comfort in both the traditional kneeling paddling position and also from seated position (again the low sides making this easier to paddle in this way), the ergonomically designed carry yoke is practical and comfortable to use if carrying on your shoulders. The solid wooden handles at both bow and stern give a perfect and robust place to pick up and carry the Nimrod 14.

Constructed of triple layer polyethylene plastic the Nimrod 14 is an incredibly hard wearing boat, and requires minimal maintenance. The symmetrical hull design allows for paddling on the front seat (in solo use) for a more precise control aided by the low freeboard (amount of hull out of the water).
