The Nova Craft Prospector 15 SP3 is the smallest model in the Prospector Range. A hugely popular traditional shape is perfect for solo paddling or looking for a responsive lightweight tandem boat. For those who are looking to paddle tandem more frequently the Nova Craft Prospector 16 SP3 is a similar shape with a greater carrying capacity.

The Prospector shape is a deeply traditional canoe shape with a moderate rocker and forgiving lines, while providing great stability for both new and experienced paddlers. The Prospector 15 is a truly competent all-round general purpose canoe. While well suited for day trips on local canals and lakes the Prospector is most at home cruising on slow moving rivers and tackling small rapids. The high sided design helps to deflect water away from the canoe and gives a drier ride even in bigger waves and rapids. With a symmetrical design this boat is easy to paddle both solo and tandem.

Constructed of Nova Crafts SP3 Plastic, this roto-moulded polyethylene canoe is super hard wearing and popular for general purpose paddling. With two solid layers of plastic covering a foam core middle, almost honeycomb like, the central layer gives buoyancy and rigidity making it an extremely hard canoe to sink.
