Vibe Kayaks Sea Ghost 130

The Vibe Sea Ghost 130 from USA brand Vibe Kayaks is a feature filled fishing kayak which is ideal for paddling coastal and inland waters to take you to your favourite fishing spots. At 13ft long and 33.5 inches at its widest point, it provides a great mix of efficiency, speed and stability. This makes it very capable in choppier waters such as those found on the open coast and some of the UKs larger inland lakes and sea lochs. The hull design is perfect for cutting through choppy waves and riding ocean swells in relative comfort. The Sea Ghost 130 is an excellent choice for those starting out with kayak angling and for more experienced anglers too be it for fresh water or sea fishing.

Amongst the many well thought out features you will find a good sized easy-open bow hatch under which is a built-in hatch bag. This storage area will easily accomodate a trolley such as the Railblaza C-Tug. The cockpit is well fitted out and has room enough for storing plenty of gear and adding a wide range of fishing accessories. Either side of the footwell and rear cargo area you will find factory fitted slide tracks which are compatible with T-Track accessories from brands such as Railblaza, Ram Mounts and Scotty. Sturdy solid carry handles located at bow, stern and midship offer good grip for carrying or car-topping the Sea Ghost 130.

The Vibe-Versa tackle console is easily accessible while seated and comes with a hinged lid under which is a sealed tackle storage area. The lid itself provides some great features: storage hatches for small items, slide tracks, a cup holder and a magnetic tackle holder, the whole console is ideal for organising your tackle and tools! The short slide tracks on the console lid are very well placed for mounting a fish finder. On the underside of the kayak you will find a built-in transducer port with protective cover. The transducer cable can be easily routed to any fish finder mounted on the tackle console lid. 

The adjustable Hero seating system has a tiltable framed mesh seat with two height settings. The raised position will keep you drier than a hull based seat and the mesh fabric allows any splashes to rapicly drain through. There are two tackle box storage spaces which are ideal for storing the Plano 3600 Medium Waterproof Tackle Boxes (sold seperately). You will find paddle holders conveniently mounted either side of the kayak cockpit and two flush mount rod holders located one on each side just behind the seat - all of these are easily accessible while seated.

There is a good sized rear cargo area ready to take a crate of gear or a cool bag to keep your catch fresh. Criss-cross bungees will help keep any gear in place and you can clip items on to them for added security.  A small screw hatch located right behind the seat offers additional access to the inside of the kayak for storage.

The factory fitted rudder system can easily be deployed using the up/downhaul control mounted near the seat, this is a great help when you need a bit more manoevrability negotiating tight places or in very choppy or windy conditions. The toe-tab controls on the upper part of the adjustable footrests make steering very easy and let you keep paddling full steam ahead rather than relying on your paddles for directional control!
