Bixpy K-1 Outboard Kit

Bixpy are now on their third iteration of their renowned Jet propulsion system for use on personal watercraft.

The Bixpy K-1 Outboard kit combines the K-1 Motor with the specialized, waterproof PP-378 Outboard Battery to add power to your kayak, paddleboard, canoe or any small watercraft. Bixpy offer a wide range of adapters (sold separately), both universal and model specific, meaning that you can fit the Bixpy K-1 Motor to pretty much any small watercraft!

The NEW Bixpy K-1 Motor is smaller than its predecessor, the J-2 motor by around 20% making it even easier to fit to more craft, the K-1 Motor also is mainly aluminium to increase its durability and strength while staying compact and lightweight with increased output over the previous two models.

Controlled via a wireless, waterproof and buoyant remote allowing control of your kayak wherever on your craft the motor is mounted, the Bixpy Battery also comes fitted with a magnetic floating kill cord designed to stop the motor if the user falls overboard.

The Bixpy K-1 Motor relies on technology borrowed from hydroelectric turbines, jet engines and airspace technology to maximise the power output without using larger batteries or propellers.

Through the use of a highly optimised impeller jet system, the Bixpy K-1 Motor makes the most of the limited space on a personal watercraft while minimizing drag, cavitation, and other conventional issues found with under craft-mounted motor systems.

With more than a dozen developed adapters, the Bixpy Electric Outboard kit will let you motorize nearly any personal watercraft.

The Bixpy motor shaft is made from a form of corrosive resistant stainless steel designed to be more resistant than the highly praised standard of SS316, while all exposed bolts are SS316 with a titanium coating. The plastic components are either ABS or ABS/polycarbonate with added UV resistance to withstand sun, sea and salt exposure. Any parts which can take an impact or move are made of a proprietary glass filled nylon with a salt and sun treatment to withstand the harsh conditions of use in the water. The New K-1 motor now utilises more aluminium to increase its strength without gaining bulk or weight.

Designed for use with the Bixpy K-1 motor, the Outboard Battery is a high performance lithium-ion battery, aiming to be your only source of power on your kayak. With a 12V and 5V outlet for charging personal electronics, the Bixpy Battery is your one-stop shop for power on a kayak. Designed to fit under a seat, in a side hatch or just on the deck of your kayak, the buoyant Bixpy Battery has 12 forward speeds and 3 reverse speeds allowing specific control of your craft.
