Dagger Mamba

The Dagger Mamba is back, with stripped back basic outfitting, but with performance which is anything but stripped back or basic. The Mamba Club represents a kayak steeped in history, well-loved by all paddlers irrespective of if they are novices just starting out and enjoying the stability and forgiving edges all the way though to hardened paddlers looking to run big drops and charge the hardest rivers.

A full displacement hull with a mild amount of bow rocker makes the Mamba a forgiving kayak, while its comfortable width gives excellent stability and a relatively quick kayak thanks to its water-line. With its rounded edges, the Mamba is well known for its easy to hold ferry glides, snappy turns and ability to stop and play (part of the reason it is popular on less challenging rivers). The new club spec doesn’t change the on boat safety features and the Mamba still boasts five anodized grab handles, front and rear foam centre pillars.

Originally designed to be as at home on the hardest white water on the planet, as it was on easy rapids, it is a great boat for learning the basics of river-running and transitioning into steeper more technical rivers. A premium kayak without the premium price tag, the Mamba is now offered in the basic Club outfitting which is, as the name suggests, popular with canoe clubs across the country and rental operators due to the minimal maintenance required to keep it on the water. A great boat for general white water use, the Mamba is available in a range of sizes to suit many paddlers.
