Description
The Grey Owl Sagamore is a Canoe paddle which follows closely to its traditional roots. Based off the classic voyageur shaped paddles (like those used to paddle across the Americas) the Sagamore features an elongated narrower face with a cambered shape finishing with knife-like edges, perfect for slicing back through the water in deeper conditions.
Made from one solid piece of Cherry Wood it has an outstanding weight to strength ratio, the choice of Cherry Wood not only remains in keeping with traditions it also features among the best resistance to rot from hard woods. With a naturally tight grain the Sagamore is less prone to warping and has extremely high durability.
Well suited for classic “box” or “Indian” strokes, we would recommend the Grey Owl Sagamore for use in deep water where the power and efficiency can really be utilised.
