Gumotex Halibut

The Gumotex Halibut is a single-person inflatable fishing kayak. A great option for those who want to fish in new and normally unreachable territories but are also limited on space for storage (it folds down into a 100L dry bag). Constructed of Nitrilon the Halibut is able to take the knocks and bumps which come with kayak fishing. With a decent water length (12.5ft) and a stable platform the Halibut is extremely capable for spending a day out on the water. A fin can be fitted to the hull for increased straight-line tracking.

The floor features a solid standing board, a great place to stand and cast from, however there is also a high-backed chair which fixes to a wooden bench for rigidity. This seat is comfortable for a relaxing padde, while the entire kayak is set up with angling in mind. This makes great to explore lakes, rivers and calm estuaries for anyone looking to explore nature in a different way.

Directly in front of the seat is a board with fixing points for a rod holder and a fish finder, but leaves sufficient space for bait preparation. Behind the seat is another board which can be used to attach other accessories e.g., camera booms or additional rod holders, and still leaves plenty of room for a crate or fish bag in the rear for additional fishing equipment or your catch. A perimeter rope runs alongside both side chambers, an anchor trolley can also be found to safely anchor up when out fishing.
