Description
The Gumotex Ruby XL, is a redesign of the classic and ever popular Gumotex Ruby, at 17cm wider than the original it is even more stable and can carry even more kit inside. Designed to be used by 3 adults the Ruby features a flat backed transom which can be fitted with a small electric or petrol motor, but can also be paddled by hand using either canoe paddles or rowing oars, making it a versatile little dingy. The transom has been stiffened and is now also removable which makes it easier to pack the Ruby into its 135l transport bag when finished.
Perfectly suited due to its wide stature for gentle cruising on inland waterways, rivers, lakes, and even calm coastal conditions. With three bench seats, which can be easily removed for additional space or carrying larger loads, the Ruby XL offers incredible comfort be that from a seated or a kneeling position.
Constructed of Nitrilon material, the same as found in white-water rafts, the Gumotex Ruby XL is a hardwearing boat which has three separate air chambers, the two side tubes feature safety ropes. While the floor compartment also features an over pressure valve to help prevent over-inflation.
If using with a motor it must have a short shaft, a maximum weight of 28kg and a max of 5HP.
