The Nova Craft Prospector 15 - Blue Steel is a light weight laminate canoe perfect for paddling a range of waters. The 2.5" of rocker at either end of the Nova Craft Prospector 15 - Blue Steel makes manoeuvrability simple and easy, giving intermediate - expert paddlers able to make the canoe dance.  The symmetrical hull design bow to stern lets paddlers either tandem paddle or reverse solo paddle from the front seat paddling the hull 'backwards'. Doing this solo paddling from the front seat trims the weight in the Prospector 15 to make the canoe more balanced by getting the paddler closer to the middle of the canoe which reduces the effect of the wind or river on the moving the canoe round,

Nova Craft have constructed this Prospector 15 from the lightweight Blue Steel laminate to give a combination of both performance and lightness to ensure moving around on and off the water is easy. The Blue Steel construction is a hybrid cloth mixing both Aramid and Carbon Fibre with an inner layer of Innegra all infused with a high impact resistant vinylester resin. This makes Blue Steel Laminate canoes ideal for use on flat waters but they have also been used on some more adventurous Arctic River Expeditions (in the right hands of course). 

To keep with the traditional look of the Nova Craft Prospector 15 UK spec Blue Steel Canoes come with full Ash Trim including the Gunwales and Deck Ends. This matches in with the ash bow and stern carry handles, comfortable bootlace seats and deluxe carrying yoke.
