Description
The Palm Mistral Jacket is a mid-weight, semi dry general purpose jacket, popular for touring, canoeing and sailing alike the Mistral has features which lend it to bridge the gap between the different crafts.
Latex wrist seals, as found on premium dry cags and drysuits, fitted to either sleeve represent the best method of keeping unwanted water seeping inside the jackets sleeves, this can assist even on flat calm water stopping water from dripping off paddle blades and shaft. However, most paddlers will try to keep their head above the water. The Mistral takes this into account and provides an adjustable easy venting neck seal, made from a comfortable neoprene material that can be opened up during long paddles or when the sun finally does come out.
Suitable for both coastal and inland touring, the Mistral is popular with open boaters, sit on top paddlers and also closed cockpit kayakers, thanks to its Twin Waist seal.
