Description
The Zenith Jacket from Palm is an extremely popular semi-dry top. Made of Palms' mid-weight recycled XP 2.5-layer Seawastex® fabric, the Zenith is a great all-round jacket. Designed to be both waterproof while also breathable to reduce condensation build up, the Zenith has ergonomically shaped articulated cut for increased motion while out on the water.
Featuring a unique Glide-Skin neck seal, which offers a comfortable and more hardwearing solution which is easier to get on or off (particularly for paddlers with wet or longer hair). Natural latex wrist gaskets can be found under equally comfortable GlideSkin neoprene over cuffs which reduce water entry from the wrist.
The Glide-skin neck makes the Zenith more comfortable to wear in salt water conditions, the neoprene neck causes less irritation and chafing, than similar cags with a latex neck. This makes the Zenith a great jacket for rock-hopping and surfing off the coast as well as white-water paddling inland, particularly in warmer weather.
Featuring a twin waist entry, the Zenith can easily be interfaced with a spraydeck and layered up with trousers for an even drier paddle. The inner lightweight fabric is finished with a fantastic grippy elasticated bottom which prevents the jacket from riding up inside the kayak.
