Thule Santu

The Thule Santu is a hard shell cargo box designed to fit on to the Thule Epos, EasyFold 3 and EasyFold XT bike carriers. Mounted low down at the back of a vehicle the Santu creates less drag than a standard roof box would. Loading cargo into the box at this level is much easier than lifting up onto the roof as would be the case with a traditional roof box. The Santu itself has a streamlined profile which further reduces drag so that it has mimimal impact on MPG or EV vehicle battery range.

Designed to be mounted onto a tiltable bike carrier allows easy access to the boot or tailgate of most vehicles. The two sturdy wheels and an ergonomic pull-handle make it easy to move to and from a vehicle. Mounting the Santu onto a carrier is not difficult and can be done by one person.

The patented SlideLock opening and closing mechanism guarantees advanced security and peace of mind. When you close the lit it automatically locks into place and a clear visual indication shows when the box is closed properly. Inside the cargo area there is a convenient interior mesh pocket for organising smaller items. An interior box light is available as an optional purchase. 

If you have an Epos 3 Bike carrier you can mount the Santu and still have room to load one bike on the carrier too - see the illustration.
