Description
The Thule WanderWay is a premium tailgate-mounted bike rack designed specifically for the Volkswagen Transporter T6. Supplied ready to carry two bikes, its raised platform keeps the vehicle's rear lights and number plate visible while providing a secure and convenient way to transport your bikes without using a towbar.
Unlike universal rear-mounted bike carriers, the Thule WanderWay has a dedicated fit for the VW Transporter T6 and comes fully pre-assembled for quick and straightforward installation.
The platform can be folded vertically against the tailgate when you're not carrying bikes, and the vehicle's rear door can be opened when there are no bikes loaded onto the carrier.
The WanderWay carries two bikes as standard and has a total load capacity of 60kg, with a maximum individual bike weight of 30kg.
Need more capacity? The carrier can be expanded to carry three or four bikes using the separately available Thule WanderWay 3rd Bike Adapter and 4th Bike Adapter.
Easy & Secure Bike Loading
Adjustable wheel rails slide from side to side, helping you position bikes with suitable spacing between them. Wheels are secured using adjustable wheel holders with pump buckles.
Detachable bike arms make attaching the bikes straightforward, while Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs click when the correct tightening torque has been reached.
The bikes can also be locked to the carrier using the included locking system.
