The high performing Werner Corryvreckan has large carbon blades which are ideal in scenarios where you are looking for max power such a paddling turbulent water or in dynamic conditions like tide races or rock play. Performance is best with a high angle technique and you will find the blade surprisingly mobile for its size so great for moving from brace or rudder into to power stroke for example.
This Full Carbon version has the durable and trusted carbon 2 part shaft, in straight or neutral bent form, with the adjustable Smart-View ferrule and carbon blades. The blades have a low profile reinforcement spine and are a little more rigid than the the glass blade version. This combination ensures maximum power transfer and a precise feel in the water.
The Corryvrecken is an outstanding powerful tool ideal for well conditioned paddlers, it pairs very well with the more touring oriented Shuna if you are paddling in varied scenarios or on multi-day trips.
