The Werner Rio is an introductory level white water kayak paddle thart makes a great cost effective choice for those just starting to paddle on white water or progressing paddlers looking for a value for money option.
The shaft is the same as that in Werner’s Premium and Ultimate Range of paddles. The Blades are a fibreglass reinforced nylon plastic which helps keep the cost down. These blades are durable but are heavier and a little less rigid than those on the higher cost paddles.
