The Dagger Code is the newest white water boat from Dagger, and comes as a fusion of the still popular Dagger Mamba in its forgiving nature and the raw speed of the Dagger Phantom. Available in three sizes Small, Medium and Large the Code is a boat with huge pedigree and performance which is suitable for paddlers of all skill levels.

The modern hull has a semi-planning design which offers extremely high performance without sacrificing on stability. The high rocker profile to the bow allows for a drier ride over features and allows the paddler to carry speed and ensure pinpoint accuracy and confidence in hitting the line consistently. This rocker profile also assists in making boof strokes easier for getting over drops and pour overs with greater ease whilst carrying speed to skip away from the feature if you go deep the volume distribution along the boat makes for a quick resurface.

The snubbed back end, similar to Phantom, keeps more volume at the stern and the kick rocker keeps the Code extremely agile, notably in high level runs when dodging between features. While the Code is designed to get you down river with comfort, the semi-planing hull remains playful if you decide to get stuck into a wave or hole.

Dagger offers the Code in two levels of outfitting; "Action+ Spec" and "ContourErgo Creek". While the hull doesn't change between these two outfitting the level of contact with the boat does, it's worth considering what is suitable for yourself and your paddling needs. Both kayaks come with a full bulkhead footplate secured on wing nuts inside the cockpit as well as a ratchet backband to improve connection to the kayak.

The "ContourErgo Creek" commonly referred to as just "Creek" is Dagger's premium outfitting, designed for paddlers who are looking to push their paddling onto higher grades of white water, it comes with additional safety features alongside improved connectivity and adaptability for comfort. The ContourErgo Seat features a comfortable seat pad, built in ratchet leg lifter to support and engage your thighs into the adjustable thigh braces. All of this comes together to provide unrivalled control over the kayak, and allows you to focus on propelling the boat with your paddle as you drive with your core and legs.

The Code has safety considered throughout it's design, five anodised aluminium grab handles allow for choice and comfort when carrying the boat between multiple people, and their solid reinforced nature and position also make it easier to recover the kayak. The rear of the seat and the centre pillar also offer secure attachment loops for any essential kit such as; airbags, throw lines, first aid kits and dry bags. The central pillar construction does change from foam in the Action Spec to a solid reinforced plastic step out pillar in Creek, to aid exiting the kayak in the event of a pin, however both are ergonomically designed and assist when carrying the kayak on your shoulder.
