The Delta Kayaks 16 is a fast and agile 16 foot touring kayak, with exceptional comfort and build quality. This kayak bridges the gap between a touring kayak and a Sea kayak, for those paddlers who want performance without compromising on stability and comfort. The Delta 16 will cover distance with ease, and has ample storage capacity for extended camping and overnight trips.
As with all Delta Kayaks, they are constructed from Delta's advanced Thermoform construction, which makes them as lightweight as a composite kayak, but with better durability and impact resistance. The Thermoform technology gives a stylish and attractive finish to the kayak, that looks shiny and sleek, as well as offering excellent UV resistance.
The outfitting of the kayak is superb, with press lock Bow, Stern and day hatches that give a really positive seal, with the recessed deck lines adding that touch of class and quality.
The Delta 16 comes as standard with a retractable skeg, which can be easily deployed to assist with straight line tracking when required. The Delta cockpit outfitting is second to none, with the latest Elevate contour seat providing the ultimate in comfort. Additional hip pads can be purchased for additional outfitting and for a snugger fit in the cockpit.
At just 21kg, the Delta Kayaks 16 will feel much easier to carry and car-top than most other plastic kayaks on the market, and is a dream to paddle for a mixture of kayaking abilities.
