The Nova Craft Trapper 12' is the smallest and lightest canoe in the Nova Craft Canoe range. At just 12ft the Trapper is an incredible solo canoe based on a tried and tested design. Weighing in under 18kg the Trapper can be lifted by almost any paddler with remarkable ease, and is easy to get on and off of a car.

Available in a number of materials, with the TuffStuff remaining the most popular, the Trapper combines incredible lightweight with superb resistance to impact, this incredibly stiff touring canoe has fantastic straight line performance and the shiny gel coat finish leaves the Trapper 12 looking exceptional.

The TuffStuff construction is a composite material made of basalt and Innegra fibres, woven together into a cloth and infused with a vinylester resin, this results in an exceptional choice for those looking for a lightweight canoe, the Trapper is really designed for flat water journeys and in the TuffStuff build is still able to take some "abuse" when off the beaten path. Also available in TuffStuff Expedition, a slightly heavier set up with additional reinforcing ribs for a more robust finish.

It's stable hull design is easy to paddle without sacrificing speed. The Trapper has a very shallow V-shaped hull with a low rocker making it excel into a headwind with maximum efficiency on every paddle stroke. With a beautiful, bootlace seat the Trapper really embraces the traditional feel associated with Nova Craft and all their history.
