The Perception Expression 14 touring kayak has many features of a longer sea kayak and is perfect for days paddling around the UK be that on inland waters or the UK's extensive coastline. The dynamic V-shaped hull is reassuringly stable without compromising on speed or straight line performance. The smooth rocker allows for a well balanced responsiveness and good control when manoeuvring.

A strong V-shape at both the bow and stern ensures good straight-line tracking and it has an impressive top speed should you need it. The upswept flared bow cuts through chop and rides over groundswell very well. The soft, rounded chines make transitions from edge to edge smooth and give this boat great agility when needed.

The Expression 14 is ideal if you're looking for a slightly livelier and more nimble ride. The lower volume ergonomics allow for close control and also give a great fit for smaller paddlers. The Expression 15 has a touch more length and volume than the Expression 14. This gives more space and forgiveness for average- to large-size paddlers, and carries heavier loads without compromising handling abilities.

The EXP outfitting offers a comfortable fit with an adjustable back strap, contoured padded seat and padded thigh braces to aim to reduce the pressure points without sacrificing on required grip for control as well as adjustable leg lifter to offer support and a snug fit.

With storage hatches at both bow and stern, the Expression 14 can be comfortably loaded up with expedition kit and used for multi day journeys, while a drop down skeg will assist in maintaining a heading in adverse winds or currents.
