THULE ProRide 598 Bike Rack

The THULE ProRide 598 is a premium upright roof-mounted bike carrier designed to make loading, securing and transporting your bike quick and straightforward. Suitable for bikes weighing up to 20kg, it securely holds the bike by the frame and wheels without needing to remove the front wheel.

The ProRide 598 features a specially designed frame holder and wheel tray that automatically position the bike as you secure it. Once the bike is in place, simply tighten the frame holder using the torque limiter dial, which gives a clear indication when the correct securing force has been reached.

Large, soft claw pads spread the pressure across the bike's frame tube, helping to reduce the risk of frame damage. The extended lower jaw of the frame holder also helps prevent the bike from falling while it is being secured.

The wheels are held firmly in place using adjustable wheel holders and diagonal quick-release wheel straps, providing a stable and secure fit during transport.

The ProRide 598 is supplied pre-assembled, so no tools are required for initial assembly. It can also be switched from one side of the vehicle to the other without tools, making it easy to position the carrier where it is most convenient for loading your bike.

Locks are included to secure the bike to the carrier and the carrier to your roof bars. If you're using several THULE carriers, the ProRide is also compatible with the THULE One-Key System, allowing compatible THULE products to use matching lock barrels.

Carbon Frame Bikes

The ProRide 598 can be used with carbon-framed bikes when fitted with the optional THULE Carbon Frame Protector. This accessory is required by THULE when carrying a carbon-frame bike with the ProRide.

Roof Bar Compatibility

The ProRide 598 fits roof bars with a 20 x 20mm T-track and is compatible with THULE WingBar Evo, WingBar Edge, WingBar, ProBar Evo and SlideBar systems.

Roof bars with a 24 x 30mm T-track require the THULE T-Track Adapter 889-1.

THULE SquareBar Evo roof bars require a THULE ProRide SquareBar Adapter.
